Nicole and Lindsay are Co-Facilitators and Co-Designers of the SENCO (Social Enterprise Network of Central of Ontario) Flourishing Social Enterprise Workshop Series through the Centre For Changemaking and Social Innovation at Georgian College. Their work, presented as a Gigamap, explores a curriculum design and delivery of the Flourishing Business Model Canvas to support SENCO's Theory of Change in creating a Flourishing Rural Economic Development strategy in the Central Ontario regions of Simcoe, Muskoka, Grey and Dufferin. Research was conducted as an Independent Study for Nicole's graduate studies work at OCAD University's Masters in Strategic Foresight and Innovation program under Professor Dr. Peter Jones You can access the full Gigamap here For a contextual understanding of SENCO's Theory of Change that informed the Gigamap and framing for the development of a Flourishing Rural Social Enterprise ecosystem, you can review the development strategy highlights here This work is part of an ongoing initiative, with funding through provincial rural economic development grants, of the Centre for Changemaking and Social Innovation at Georgian College to develop and explore the regional capacity for rural socio-economic "Flourishing."
